When I started this mani, all I really knew was that I wanted to do some kind of floral and matte it with my new Revlon – Matte Pearl Glaze. Luckily, working without a clear plan does pay off sometimes!
I started this mani by painting on my base colors: Sonia Kashuk – Breakfast at Tiffany’s, OPI – My Vampire is Buff and Nicole by OPI – Sweet Daisy. It took two coats of each of these polishes for full opacity. I topped them off with a coat of Seche Vite to speed up the drying time.
Once dry, I used my small detail brush and began to paint on little whimsical floral doodles on my middle and ring fingers. I used a medium dotting tool to add the dots on my pinky and index fingers. I topped all of my nails with one more coat of Seche Vite to smooth and blend it all together (and to dry faster, because impatient!)
When everything was completely dry, I topped it off with one coat of Revlon – Matte Pearl Glaze.

POLISHES:
- Essie – Grow Stronger Base Coat
- Sonia Kashuk – Breakfast at Tiffany’s
- OPI – My Vampire is Buff
- Nicole by OPI – Sweet Daisy
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
- Revlon – Matte Pearl Glaze
I am seriously loving the Matte Pearl Glaze. Over paler colors like the ones I used, it softens then and adds a light sheen so you get glints of pearlized color even with a matte finish!
