This mani is actually from last Friday, but I am behind in posting them. I did this for the BHB weekly challenge prompt of Fall Floral. I think it ended up being more Spirng Floral, but I think it still works!

I started this off with 2 coats of Revlon – Pale Cashmere. This is the last time I will use this polish before sticking it into my “get rid of” bin. I love the color, but the formula was hideous. To soften the colors I was using and make them a bit easier to brush on, I added a bit of polish thinner. The water consistency of the polishes gave me much softer edges. When I had all of the colors layered on in flower shapes, I added a bit of brown to each color and went in over the original flower shapes a second time. Once that was dry, I used a small dotting tool to add the dots in the center of the flowers.
POLISHES:
- Sally Hansen Nail Nutrition – Green Tea + Olive Growth
- Revlon – Pale Cashmere
- Sinful Colors – Hazard
- Sinful Colors – Mint Apple
- OPI – Don’t Talk Bach to M
- Zoya – Spencer
- Zoya – Emilia
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
I love how this came out, even if it was more Spring-y than Fall and I will definitely refine this technique down the road, because painting with the thinned polishes is very nice!
