Wow, I am so behind on posting about my manicures! I plan on fixing that today, starting with a Valentines manicure I created using My True Love Creations – Cupids Crush as a base!
Cupid’s Crush is luscious with that delish jelly finish that I love oh-so-much! I decided to stamp in several different colors over it using a small heart pattern – I wanted it to look like my nails had been sprinkled with heart-shaped confetti. Unfortunately, the stamp has a problem (as you can see, almost all of them have a little “hole” in the pattern), but overall I was still happy with how it turned out.

I started off with 3 coats of Cupids Crush and once that was completely dry, I started stamping away! For the layers of stamping I used Color Club – East Austin, OPI – I Sing in Color, Zoya – Kitridge and M Polish – Snowberry. I thought it needed a little something extra once I was done with the stamping so I painted on an angled heart on my ring finger (where else!?) To create the heart, I use my largest dotting tool and created two dots side by side. I then used a detail brush to create inwardly angled lines on each side and fill it in. Everything got a coat of Seche Vite to top it off.
POLISHES:
- Essie – Grow Stronger Base Coat
- My True Love Creations – Cupid’s Crush
- Color Club – East Austin
- OPI – I Sing in Color
- Zoya – Kitridge
- M Polish – Snowberry
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
- Cici & Sisi – 05
While I love this concept and don’t hate this manicure. The stamp not stamping correctly really bothered me! I think it would have looked much better if the hearts weren’t all partials.
