The Allure Beauty Box is one of my monthly treats. There hasn’t been a month yet where I didn’t get at least 2-3 products that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately (and I tell them every time they give me a survey) they do not include enough nail polish! It’s been months since the last polish (Butter London – The Sweet Spot). Luckily they managed to stave off my cancellation a bit longer with the inclusion of Trust Fund Beauty – Champagne Problems!
This was my first Trust Fund Beauty polish and I love the name of it! It’s a soft, yellow-toned gold. The bottle included was a super generous 17mL (.57 fl.oz), I love getting full sized “samples”.

The color reminded me a bit of OPI – Love.Angel.Music.Baby, but the finish isn’t as textured and it has a demi-matte finish. Champagne Problems is also extremely opaque. This is a one-coat polish, which makes the generous size of the bottle even more awesome! Here is one coat, topped with Seche Vite:

The only bad thing about this is that my ridges are pretty clearly visible, so if you have ridges, you would want to wear a ridge filler under this polish. The brush is wide with a curved end for precise application (I really loved the brush)!
Once I had it on, I knew I wanted to do some kind of Valentine mani. I decided on some advanced stamping and came up with this design, which I absolutely love!

I really love how Champagne Problems looks when matted!

Of course, I couldn’t stop there. Any time I get a really opaque polish, I am determined to find out how well it stamps (because I must stamp all the phalanges). Luckily the studies are in and the good news is that this does stamp well!

I created this many for the @PushYourMani untried prompt using ORLY – Follow Your Path and Kristoff He Goes to create a gradient and stamped on top of it. This color combo leeched the gold color out, though. It looks very silver here – but as you can see the lines are pretty crisp and the coverage pretty opaque.

Overall, I am really quite pleased with this polish. It is highly versatile with a lovely formula and I am really drawn to this shade of gold. I’m really glad this showed up and I hope that Allure starts including more fantastic polishes in their monthly boxes.
