This is my mani from Sunday. I’m not a fan of textured polishes, but I picked this one up on clearance and it has been sitting on my untried list for a long time. Finally, my adoration of the color won out over my dislike of texture!

I started out with one coat of Loreal – Too Dimensional? The polish base is lavender leaning blue and very unique! It contains a heavy dose of gold micro-glitter and larger particles that are the same color as the base. I really cannot say enough about the color, it is lovely! However, it does dry to a rough textured finish, so if you don’t like textures you will need to put at least 2 thick coats of topcoat on. I used two coats on my accent fingers.
Once the accent fingers were completely dry, I applied angled nail vinyls by http://www.glammymani.com. I needed to reposition them a couple of times to get them centered well, and that wasn’t a problem for these at all. I moved them each around a couple of times and they still stuck on well and gave me very straight lines after I added the black polish on.
POLISHES:
- Sally Hansen Nail Nutrition – Green Tea + Olive Growth
- Loreal – Too Dimensional?
- Sinful Colors – Black on Black
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
This manicure ended up looking like a date night mani. It was very blingy and the nail vinyl accents were very sleek. Too bad I didn’t actually get to wear them out lol! I can definitely see a look like this being good for the upcoming holiday season as well with a gold or silver glitter base.
