That is correct, this is round up 1 of probably 2-3 because I plan on continuing to do a ton of Halloween and fall-themed nail designs for October. I’m following three different challenges and while I probably will not get all of those prompts done, it gives me a lot of options to choose from.
So, yeah. I spent a lot of time early in December, trying to decide what the crown jewel of my Christmas manicures would be. The special one I’d have on for Christmas day (yes, these are they types of thoughts that consume me, don’t judge!). Then there was the sickness. Which lead to the exhaustion. Which lead to me wearing a chipped manicure for almost 4 days (7 days total!). Sadly, it didn’t get any better.
Today’s mani is a gradient done with stormy fall colors. I wanted a pretty neutral base to try out nail vinyls provided by Glam My Mani for being part of her Glam Squad. I received a nice variety of different vinyls to try out and the first are a narrow and thick stripe.
I’m at it again with the spider web nails. I wasn’t quite sure where I wanted to go with this mani when I started thinking about it yesterday, but I happened to be checking out blogs and saw a lovely manicure with black roses by Chalkboard Nails and thought that black roses would make a really awesome addition to a web mani.
I have enough polish now that sometimes I have trouble figuring out what to do (because there is so much I want to do – the struggle is real)! So, digging through my stash, I came across Sally Hansen – Copperhead, a gorgeous dark copper (almost more of a rust color) duochrome that pulls a bit purple and green at just the right angles. Even by itself it is really gorgeous for fall, but I wanted to step it up. On my nail message board, ladies had been talking about stamping with the Essie metallics and that made me remember how nice they stamp and voila!
