That is correct, this is round up 1 of probably 2-3 because I plan on continuing to do a ton of Halloween and fall-themed nail designs for October. I’m following three different challenges and while I probably will not get all of those prompts done, it gives me a lot of options to choose from.
Funky Fiesta Manicure using Sinful Colors – Fierce Fiesta
I’m a bit early for Cinco de Mayo, so I may have to do something similar then, but I got this amazingly fun glitter from Sinful Colors called Fierce Fiesta and couldn’t help myself from doing a full mani with colors inspired by the glitter!
Swatch and Review: Sinful Colors – Bloom Blast Crellies
I will be the first to admit that I am late to this party. I’ve actually been on the lookout for these cute crellies since reports about them first started popping up back in February! I finally checked one of the higher volume Walgreens in my area and there they were! Even better, Sinful Colors was on sale when I was there so I got each of these for $1.50/ea.
My True Love Creations Valentines Trio – Swatches and Review
If you have been following my blog, you may recognize this indie brand already. I swatched several of the My True Love Creations winter polish collection a couple of months ago. I enjoyed the entire collection but raved about an (as of then) unnamed red holographic jelly that has since been named Mrs. Claws. MTL has recently released a Valentine trio and I am lucky enough to be able to show you some swatches!
CrowsToes – Candied Brains Anyone?
I recently won a giveaway from Peachy Polish for her 2 year blogiversary. If you have never been to her blog: stop, drop and go! She does amazing swatches and is one of the blogs I visit to see great Indie brand swatches. I was shocked that I won, because I’ve never won a giveaway before! I won 5 bottles of CrowsToes polish (you can take a look at what they have at Llarowe). All of the ones I received are gorgeous and I will eventually use all of them, but this post is for Candied Brains Anyone?!
#Spooktober Day 6: Skeleton/Ghost nails
I did have these on time, just put off posting them until today! Sunday was release day for the new China Glaze Halloween line: Apocalypse of Color. I got the glitter topper a couple of weeks ago via Amazon because I found it for a discounted price, but I really wanted this one (Don’t Let the Dead Bite) as well and decided to wait until it was out at Sally’s. I used a smidgen of this on my vampire manicure, but here it is as a full mani!
Color Club Made in New York Review – Million Dollar Listing and Concrete Jungle
When looking around the web recently, I ran across a preview shot of the new Color Club Made in New York collection coming out for the holidays. I was immediately drawn to Million Dollar listing and knew I had to have it.
BHB Challenge: Inspired by the Season and new China Glaze – Rest in Pieces
I love everything about Fall. The cooler weather, the leaves changing colors, Halloween, etc. etc. You get the idea. Sadly, I live in Texas and fall is pretty short-lived here. We’re still hitting the 90’s and the trees haven’t started to change yet – but our grass is dying because we haven’t had enough rain. My seasonal inspiration was the colors around us and this is what I ended up with:
