I just realized it’s been the better part of a month since my last blog entry! It doesn’t feel that long – probably because I have had so much going on this month. It’s definitely time for a breather, so here we are! The polish I am reviewing today was a happy surprise from my Allure Beauty Box this month – I canceled my box subscription, so this was the last one I will get. It’s from a new-to-me brand and I am in love!
It doesn’t get that cold in my part of the US, but it does get chilly and often quite rainy – the combination leaves me longing for Spring. Of course I have to translate that desire into nail art 🙂
I’m back today to review more product from Born Pretty Store! Today I am showing off some floral water slide decals – I really cannot say enough good things about both how easy these are to use and how much I like using them for quickie nail art!
Are you ready for the holidays? My house is decorated, a lot of my shopping is already done, but for some reason I am just not in the holiday spirit this year. I decided to do a holiday mani to help get me in the mood. When it comes to Christmas, I prefer traditional colors. That is correct, this is round up 1 of probably 2-3 because I plan on continuing to do a ton of Halloween and fall-themed nail designs for October. I’m following three different challenges and while I probably will not get all of those prompts done, it gives me a lot of options to choose from.
Are you ready for Halloween? I am! It is my favorite holiday of the year and I love doing themed manis and I am going to try to have a new nail art design up every other day!

I cannot believe I forgot to post about this mani! This one was done for my #mommysmanimonday group and the prompt was to use both neon and pastel polish in a single mani. I did a mix of dotticure and chevron.
If you have followed my blog for any length of time, you are sure to notice that I am mad for polkadots. I use them all the time in my everyday manicures because they are quick to do and always look fun. Sometimes it is good to add in a bit of a twist for fun!
Here is your one thing to know about me for the day: I am not a fan of neon colors. Despite that, I still have a few for obscure reasons. When I saw that Nail It magazine was looking for neon submissions, I gritted my teeth and put this mani together. (LOL)
