Another teaser mani featuring Mpolish. This is the second mani I did using Mpolish before my nails got their big chop! I wanted to do some art over the stamping and went with roses using Zoya using the mauve tones from the Zoya Naturel Deux set. Of course, I ended up going a different direction with my swatches, so this wouldn’t have made the cut for that post anyway, so here they are!
I love the way nail art looks over stamping, and this is very similar to manis I have done in the past!

I started out with one coat of Zoya – Madeline, a lovely warm mauve with great coverage. Once dry, I stamped on top with Mpolish – Sweetclover using BP – L 003 from Born Pretty Store. I topped that with a coat of Seche Vite to protect it then began work on the flowers. Using a narrow striping brush I painted on the base for the roses in Zoya – Aubrey and then detailed them with Zoya – Madeline and Marnie and the darkest color is OPI – I Sing in Color. Lastly, I painted on the leaves using OPI – Don’t Talk Bach to Me. I used one coat of Seche Vite to seal everything in and then topped that with a coat of NYC – Matte Me Crazy topcoat.

POLISHES:
- Essie – Grow Stronger Base Coat
- Zoya – Madeline
- Zoya – Aubrey
- Zoya – Marnie
- OPI – I Sing in Color
- OPI – Don’t Talk Bach to Me
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
- NYC – Matte Me Crazy Top Coat
- BP – L 003
I love the color scheme on this one, but I feel like I Sing in Color was a bit too dark for the shadows as it almost looks black in some lights.
