While I love indie and boutique brands of polish, I still keep a watch out for interesting or unique drugstore nail polish. This week, while browsing Walgreens, I spotted a gorgeous new polish from Revlon called Daydreamer and I immediately snatched it up. Let me show you why!
Daydreamer is a gorgeous pale lavender (almost pink, really) shade of polish with a shifty, buttery shimmer.
I had kind of assumed, from the bottle, that this would be more of a sheer topper. Much to my surprise, this was opaque on me in three very easily applied coats. Someone with less free edge could almost certainly get away with two coats. The formula glides on smoothly leaving very minimal brush strokes.
The brush strokes aren’t really visible until you get up close, but the shimmer is just glorious on this polish.
Last year, Revlon put out Matte Pearl Glaze and Holographic Pearls and I am glad to see them continue to put out a more forward-thinking polish color. The one is absolutely stunning and the fabulous formula make this a must have! I believe this retailed for $5.99, so it is an affordable addition to any collection.
