After my creepy clown manicure, I wanted to do something a bit more lighthearted and fun with traditional Halloween colors. As always, I am a huge fan of pattern, so I included dots and chevrons!
I started by painting all my nails with the orange color and then painted my ring finger with a shimmery black. Once they were dry, I painted on the jack-o-lantern with a thin striping brush and dotting tool. The face is based off of the jack-o-lantern from a water marble tutorial by ArcadiaNailArt! Next, using a large dotting tool I put the dots on the black nail. I used chevron nail vinyls from NailVinyls.com – these make doing chevrons super easy! I love stamping this pattern when I am in a time crunch, but nothing beats the precision and clean lines of vinyls!

- Nicole by OPI – Fairy Fairy Quite Contrary
- Zoya – Claudine
- Sinful Colors – Black on Black
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
Loved how these came out! The orange really pops and the patterns make me feel very happy lol!
BTW – for those following the Halloween challenges, I did skip the Horror movie challenges. I don’t watch many horror movies and I just couldn’t get inspire for them. I’ll be back on track tomorrow with Zombie nails!
