The prompt for Day 19 of the September Nail Art Challenge was Negative Space. This is such a versatile technique and there are so many possibilities! I ended up going with something relatively simple this time.
While looking through all of my polish trying to decide what to do for this challenge, I happened to see my bottle of Sinful Colors – Green Ocean. In the bottle, it looks like a light green sheer base with flakies in it (pretty standard) – but I knew from pictures I had seen around the web that this polish looks amazing over black. It reminds me of peacock feathers because of all the greens, blues and purples!
The actual negative space part was done with striping tape. I used two pieces for each division.
