After a handful of bright, colorful manis, I was ready to do something a bit more stark and simple. I decided on black and white and my nail art of choice: polkadots! Simple colors or design choice doesn’t have to equal a boring or bland mani though!
For this simple manicure, I started out by applying two coats of Barielle – Going to the Chapel. I topped that with one coat of Seche Vite to aid in drying time. Using a medium dotting tool and Sinful Colors – Black on Black I created my dot pattern on all of my nails.
My finished result, while simple conceptually has a huge visual impact! I love how these turned out and the very bold feeling they have.
- Essie – Grow Stronger Base Coat
- Barielle – Going to the Chapel
- Sinful Colors – Black on Black
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
You could easily have a more delicate, feminine look by using a smaller dotting tool so that the dots are smaller and spaced further apart! I’ll definitely be doing this again some time!
