Matted Floral using Lucky Lacquer polishes!

I posted this mani in my review of the Lucky Lacquer polishes, but wanted to give it its’ own post as well, because I absolutely love how it came out!

First off, I have to mention that I have been gaga over the many matted floral manis I have seen from @wondrouslypolished (her other work is wonderful as well!) and I really wanted to try something in a similar style. The base is two coats of Lucky Lacquer Mint Daisy. On my middle finger, I used a fine liner brush and painted on the vines. I wanted this to be the focal nail. On my ring and index fingers I used a Cici&Sisi stamp for the scrolling pattern. Once that was dry, I used my large dotting tool to create the dots on my pinky and the little blobby flowers. I used the small end to add the flower centers and the white dots on my accent nail. Overall, this ends up looking a lot more complicated than it actually is!

I topped everything off with a coat of Seche Vite to seal it and then added a single coat of NYC – Matte Me Crazy to give it that lovely finish.

  • Sally Hansen Nail Nutrition – Green Tea + Olive Growth
  • Lucky Lacquer – Mint Daisy
  • Lucky Lacquer – Alpine Phlox
  • Sally Hansen – White On
  • Color Club – Abyss
  • Sonia Kashuk – Breakfast at Tiffany’s
  • NYC – Matte Me Crazy
  • Cici & Sisi 02

I’m using a different base coat for the first time in many months. I really, really like Essie Grow Stronger, but decided to try something new (and cheaper) on a whim when my bottle ran low. So far, so good lol

These are my all time favorite from you. You really outdid yourself this time. But I feel like I say that every time you have a new mani.

Thank you! I was really happy with how this one came out too!
