Are you ready for the holidays? My house is decorated, a lot of my shopping is already done, but for some reason I am just not in the holiday spirit this year. I decided to do a holiday mani to help get me in the mood. When it comes to Christmas, I prefer traditional colors. Naturally, my first holiday dotticure of the year needed to reflect that preference!
I started out by painting on two coats of my base colors: Sally Hansen – White On for my middle and ring finger nails and OPI – Love.Angel.Music.Baby on the others. Over the OPI, I added a coat of Finger Paints – Metallic Moondust, which is a mix of fine gold, silver and green glitters.
Over the white, I started on my dotting. I used Love.Angel.Music.Baby, Zoya – Sooki and Barielle – Teaser and made each vertical row of dots a bit different. I gave the dots a couple of minutes to dry and then topped all of my nails with a coat of Seche Vite.
- Essie – Grow Stronger Base Coat
- OPI – Love.Angel.Music.Baby
- Sally Hansen – White On
- Finger Paints – Metallic Moondust
- Zoya – Sooki
- Barielle – Teaser
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
I love the dotted nails in this mani – I’m kind of a dot fanatic anyway, but I love this combination. I think I may do all my nails that way for Christmas!
