Are you ready for Halloween? I am! It is my favorite holiday of the year and I love doing themed manis and I am going to try to have a new nail art design up every other day!
I wanted to start off with something simple but with traditional colors, so of course I went with my old stand-by, dots!

I started out with a base of the lovely bright, pumpkin orange from Nicole by OPI called Fairy Fairy Quite Contrary. This polish takes three coats for full opacity, but I think the color is really worth it! I’ve got it about half-way used up now and the odd shaped bottle of this brand is really starting to bother me – and it is a huge deterrent from buying more of their polish or finishes.
I used a large dotting tool to add my polka dots using Sinful Colors – Black on Black and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On and Mellow Yellow. I varied the dot pattern a bit from nail to nail – no real reason why except to do it a bit differently.

POLISHES:
- Essie – Grow Stronger Base Coat
- Nicole by OPI – Fairy Fairy Quite Contrary
- Sinful Colors – Black on Black
- Sally Hansen – White On
- Sally Hansen – Mellow Yellow
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
I really, really loved how these came out and this may be the manicure I do for Halloween itself.
Orange clashes with my skin tone, but on you it looks gorgeous. Love this with the polka dots 🙂
Beautiful! How are your dots so perfect?
I LOVE this look! I’m not a fan of orange polishes, but this is awesome. We don’t celebrate Halloween over here at all so I don’t usually do Halloween manis.
This is so cute and very Halloweeny! Your manis are always beautiful! I can’t wait to see what else you do!
Gorgeous! I can’t wait to see more!
