I’m a bit early for Cinco de Mayo, so I may have to do something similar then, but I got this amazingly fun glitter from Sinful Colors called Fierce Fiesta and couldn’t help myself from doing a full mani with colors inspired by the glitter!
I picked Fierce Fiesta up at Target the other day, it was on an endcap display and I had never heard of it, so I nabbed it! It is so much fun! The colors in it are great!
I started this mani off by painting 2 coats of Sally Hansen – Teeny Bikini on my pointer finger and 2 coats of Funky Fingers – Bizerk Turq on all of my other nails. Once dry, I dabbed Fierce Fiesta on my middle and ring finger. Dabbing is definitely required if you want a variety of the glitter to be on your nails. The oversized pink glitter was the hardest to fish for.
On my pointer, I used narrow chevron nail vinyls by Glam My Mani and painted between them with Bizerk Turq and Zoya – Sooki. On my pinky nail, I used a medium dotting tool and dotted Sooki, Teeny Bikini and some Barielle – Going to the Chapel.
How fun is this mani!? Seriously, I want to do something very similar for Cinco de Mayo. Below is a macro shot so you can see the glitter itself in more detail:
- Essie – Grow Stronger Base Coat
- Sally Hansen – Teeny Bikini
- Funky Fingers – Bizerk Turq
- Zoya – Sooki
- Barielle – Going to the Chapel
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
I adore these colors together! Next time I may incorporate a coral and blue color in place of some of the others for a truer match to the glitter itself! Definitely worth picking up if you like fun, funky glitters (especially if you are on a budget!)
