Here we are, right at the beginning of summer and I am already soulfully longing for the cooler days of fall – along with the earthier color tones. Best I can do is bring fall to my nails a few months early!
I started this mani with one coat of Sinful Colors – Black on Black for all of my nails. I let it dry completely before I added any art to them, to minimize the chances of having a smear.
I wanted to create overlapping flowers close to the cuticle so I decided to go with simple four and five-dot flowers using OPI – My Vampire is Buff, Zoya – Wendy, Frankenpolish – Marsala and Sinful Colors – Coral Riff. I went color by color and created a few flowers of each color then overlapped them a bit with the next bunch of colors.
To create the leaves, I used a detail brush and just created little squiggles of OPI – Don’t Talk Bach to Me.
My last step was to use a small dotting tool and add dots to the black area of my nails for a bit of bling! I topped everything with Seche Vite to finalize the mani.
