Today’s mani is a gradient done with stormy fall colors. I wanted a pretty neutral base to try out nail vinyls provided by Glam My Mani for being part of her Glam Squad. I received a nice variety of different vinyls to try out and the first are a narrow and thick stripe.

I started this mani out with one coat of Zoya Pandora (the lightest color in my gradient). Once it was dry, I used a non-latex makeup sponge and applied a gradient of China Glaze – Below Decks, Zoya – Pandora and Sonia Kashuk – Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I applied 2 coats of OPI – Love.Angel.Music.Baby to my index nail. I top coated all of these nails and once that was completely dry I applied the nail vinyls to my ring finger, using two of the narrow ones closer to the cuticle and the thicker one further out.
As a quick aside – I love nail vinyls. They really do work so much better than tape because of how pliable they are and you can get a good surface adherence even when your nails curve a lot (like mine!)
Once I was satisfied with the vinyl placement I applied 1 coat of Love.Angel.Music.Baby and added one more coat of Seche Vite.

I ended up liking this pretty well, but I really wish I had gone with a dark gray instead of the brown for the darkest color. I’m thinking I might have to do something similar to this for the holidays. Gold with a red or green gradient!
