I’ve always been interested in getting the Zoya Remove+ Pump dispenser, because it seems to be really convenient and popular, but I’ve never actually been able to make myself pony up the money for it. Luckily, there is a solution available at Target stores – I can’t believe it took me so long to find it!
I needed to pick up some non-acetone remover, and Target’s Up & Up brand is my favorite (why don’t you carry the big bottles anymore Target!?) – I happened to spot a little, empty dispenser down on the shelf near the polish removers.
It’s possible that I have just overlooked it in the past because of how overly-lit the cosmetic section is. Maybe it blended in. Maybe everyone else knew about these little gems and they were never in stock. Who knows. I saw it and grabbed it immediately!
The snapping lid flips up to reveal a small inverted cup that you can press down to pump the remover.
I filled mine with the pink Up & Up non-acetone remover. It holds 6 oz (117mL) which, conveniently, is how much is in one of the small polish remover bottles.
The pump worked well for me right off the bat and I got a perfect amount of polish remover on my cotton round. Pumping can be done one-handed (hur hur!) as opposed to tipping a bottle of chemicals over a cotton you are holding in your other hand.
I don’t know about you, but I am totally guilty of remover tsunamis at my polishing station and this completely solves that problem by being spill-proof! I’m pretty sure I need another one of these for my acetone remover as well!
Can you believe this gets better? The price is right, Bob! The empty pump bottle retails for $2.49! You can get it in store or on their website!
It’s a bit silly, but I feel like everyone who polishes their nails needs one of these. Luckily I work on an IKEA surface that seems mostly impervious to the damaging qualities of acetone and non-acetone remover, but I’ve seen or read about spills that damage tables and desks. This little bottle takes away that risk, which could save people from a costly repair to re-surface a table or desk. Totally worth my pennies and highly recommended!
