It’s been a while since I reviewed any stamping plates, but I was sent the JQL-01 stamping plate by LadyQueen.com. A large portion of my nail art involves stamping, so I really like to try out new tools. Check out my full review and some stamped manicures below!

The Allure Beauty Box is one of my monthly treats. There hasn’t been a month yet where I didn’t get at least 2-3 products that I absolutely loved. It’s no secret that I have major lust for any multi-chrome polish. I find them enthralling (more-so than holo even) and eventually I want all of them. Perhaps you can understand how bombastically thrilled I was to receive a bottle of ILNP – Sirene from my Secret Santa swap? Of course I had to put it right on!
I don’t generally wear a lot of red polish, but in the month of December, it feels like a must, so I dust off all my red polishes and go to town. I love doing lower contrast stamping and this seemed like the perfect opportunity!
I’m not ready to let go of Fall yet. It is my favorite time of the year and fall colors generally fall into my spectrum of favorites. It should come as no surprise that when I was getting ready to do my nails, I automatically reached for a dark brown color.
I’m a big fan of nail art techniques that are quick and easy, because I often find myself throwing a mani on at the last minute. As I have mentioned before, dry brushing is one of my favorite fast techniques and adding a symmetrical stamp totally makes these shine.
Advanced stamping is one of those techniques that I have been in awe of for years, but for multiple reasons I had not managed to conquer it. My main problem was that I was trying to place dried decals on my nails and could never get them to lay down nicely because my nails curve quite a bit from side-to-side as well as front-to-back. I finally found the way to do it that works best for me and I am super pleased with the results!

It’s been a long time coming for an update and it’s a post I meant to do weeks ago. I strained my right wrist at the end of October that put a moratorium on general activities like typing, cleaning and worst of all, nail-related activities. I’m completely mended now, thankfully, so I want to start off with playing catch-up – I know most people are ready to be over Halloween, so bear with me 🙂
