Today I am reviewing a water slide decal provided to me by LadyQueen.com. I found the muted colors in this adorable floral pattern really appealing! Check out my review and the manicure I created using these decals below.
Dreaming of Spring – Whimsical Floral Nail Art
It doesn’t get that cold in my part of the US, but it does get chilly and often quite rainy – the combination leaves me longing for Spring. Of course I have to translate that desire into nail art 🙂
OPI – Show Us Your Tips: Swatch, Review and Nail Art
OPI recently released their New Orleans collection and while I was a bit disappointed (where are the metallics!?) I did fall in love with one of them and brought it home to live with me. Check out my review after the break 🙂
Born Pretty Store Floral Water Slide Decals
I’m back today to review more product from Born Pretty Store! Today I am showing off some floral water slide decals – I really cannot say enough good things about both how easy these are to use and how much I like using them for quickie nail art!
Dry Brush Floral Nails and Tutorial
It’s kind of awesome to go into a mani with a basic design in mind and have it warp into something cooler and more detailed than you intended! That is the case with this mani. I started out just intending to do some random dry brushing, but it ended up looking like flowers on my first nail so I altered my plan and went with that.
Opposing Floral Gradient Nails
I’m a lover of strange color combinations, and I got some inspiration from a color palette on design seeds that was blue and green. I’m happy with how this came out, but it is a lot more subdued looking that I had originally imagined.
Spring Flowers and Double Dots
Sometimes I have a bit of a roadblock about what kind of nail art to do over non-creme polishes. I tend to want to leave them as-is to not hide how pretty they are. I’m always pretty proud of myself when I do some art and end up really happy with it!
Floral Stamped Pink and Gold Gradient
Obviously, I have been in the mood for flowers! I’ve been painting and stamping them like they are going out of style. I realized that I hadn’t done a gradient in a while, so I set out to do one this time. Aside from the cleanup, this was super fast nail art – I really need to invest in some liquid latex, it would save me a ton of time.
Gray and Pink Polka dot Floral Nails
This mani came about when I was trying out some different dotting ideas. I was going to little paisleys made of dots as I am trying to perfect a technique for bandana nails!
Funky Fiesta Manicure using Sinful Colors – Fierce Fiesta
I’m a bit early for Cinco de Mayo, so I may have to do something similar then, but I got this amazingly fun glitter from Sinful Colors called Fierce Fiesta and couldn’t help myself from doing a full mani with colors inspired by the glitter!
