Review: Starfish Charms from LadyQueen

I don’t often use charms on my nails, but I simply couldn’t resist these adorable little starfish charms from LadyQueen.com. Check out my review and and the mani I created with them after the break!
It doesn’t get that cold in my part of the US, but it does get chilly and often quite rainy – the combination leaves me longing for Spring. Of course I have to translate that desire into nail art 🙂
This is one of those manis that I did in a rush without much in the way of planning. I’ve pretty much decided that you just cannot go wrong with random dry brushing. Read on to see how it turned out!
I’m back today to review more product from Born Pretty Store! Today I am showing off some floral water slide decals – I really cannot say enough good things about both how easy these are to use and how much I like using them for quickie nail art!
Nail vinyls and stickers have become one of the major tools of the trade for doing manis. I’ve tried vinyls from quite a few brands and always enjoy using them, so I was excited to get to review some really fun mermaid scale stickers from Born Pretty Store.
The Allure Beauty Box is one of my monthly treats. There hasn’t been a month yet where I didn’t get at least 2-3 products that I absolutely loved. Naturally, my first holiday dotticure of the year needed to reflect that preference! Continue reading
Recently when browsing Born Pretty Store, I saw that they now offered chevron striping tape. I’m a huge fan of chevron nail styles, so I went ahead and picked up a roll to try out. This is the first mani I’ve use them on!
I’m a big fan of nail art techniques that are quick and easy, because I often find myself throwing a mani on at the last minute. As I have mentioned before, dry brushing is one of my favorite fast techniques and adding a symmetrical stamp totally makes these shine.
Advanced stamping is one of those techniques that I have been in awe of for years, but for multiple reasons I had not managed to conquer it. My main problem was that I was trying to place dried decals on my nails and could never get them to lay down nicely because my nails curve quite a bit from side-to-side as well as front-to-back. I finally found the way to do it that works best for me and I am super pleased with the results!
