Catching up on my Christmas manis

December was a bit on the sucky side this year. I was sick for most of it and only had enough energy to deal with the holiday stuff going on, which didn’t leave nearly enough time for manicures and polish. I have several holiday manicures that I wanted to post and never did, so they all go here to help me catch up on my posting. I never even managed to find the energy to post these manis to IG, so I am putting them all together in one post.

These first two manis were done with the intention of posting them with a review of the Cici & Sisi Holiday set that came out, but that review was scrapped pretty early on just for lack of time. These are the sample shots I did to show how the plate stamped though! This first one is China Glaze – December to Remember stamped with Funky Fingers – Gesso.

Next up is a sample to show how gold stamped. I’m not sure why, but I had a lot of trouble using metallic polishes with this plate. They kept looking smeary after being stamped and even doing this simple mani frustrated me.

OPI - My Vampire is Buff stamped with Essie - Good as Gold

My index finger has OPI – Love.Angel.Music.Baby while the others are OPI – My Vampire is Buff stamped with Essie Good as Gold. I do love the color combination on this mani but using metallic polish to stamp with the Cici&Sisi Holiday plate was pure frustration for me.

Next up are a couple of manis I did using polishes from My True Love Creations. I wanted to show how both polishes looked in a mani with some art!

This first one is Sugar Plum Gumdrops with a painted snowflake accent on a background of China Glaze X-ta-sea. I used a little rhinestone in the center for a bit of extra bling.

This one featured the delightfully edible-looking Deck the Halls and I painted some holly leaves and berries on top. Super cute, wish I hadn’t been too sick to even think about posting this earlier.

Inspired? For next Christmas? Which is only a year away? LOL! Well played, right?
