I love everything about Fall. The cooler weather, the leaves changing colors, Halloween, etc. etc. You get the idea. Sadly, I live in Texas and fall is pretty short-lived here. We’re still hitting the 90’s and the trees haven’t started to change yet – but our grass is dying because we haven’t had enough rain. My seasonal inspiration was the colors around us and this is what I ended up with:
I love these colors together, but on further inspection, this does seem like it could work for Christmas as well lol!
- Essie – Grow Stronger Base Coat
- Butter London – Dosh
- OPI – Love.Angel.Music.Baby
- China Glaze – Rest in Pieces
- Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat

What I am most excited about on this mani is that glitter! That is China Glaze – Rest in Pieces from their Halloween 2014 Apocalypse of Color line. I love it! It’s like a Halloween party on my nails. the glitter consists of both short and long bar glitter (metallic coppery-orange and holographic), small medium and large black hex, medium holographic hex glitter and large metallic orange hex.
The formula was thick, but it was densely packed with glitter and really easy to apply. I did have to do a bit of dabbing to move things around (especially the extra long bar glitter) but nothing to arduous! This is really my perfect glitter for fall and I am sure I will be using it a lot more!
